Senior Staff UX Designer, Workspace GenAI Foundations Platform
Join us at Google as a Senior Staff UX Designer focused on building the Workspace GenAI Foundations Platform.
Location Preferred locations include New York, NY; Kirkland, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; and Sunnyvale, CA. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in product design or UX.
Portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related field.
15 years of experience in product design or UX.
Experience building and launching products from the ground up, contributing to product strategy and design execution.
Experience designing for AI‑powered products and services, with knowledge of the challenges and opportunities.
Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand technical implications of design decisions.
Responsibilities
Drive high‑impact product opportunities by bringing in market analysis, competitive insights, and user needs, mapping this data to the UX experience strategy.
Drive product ideas through with cross‑functional teams and lead senior stakeholder decision‑making by developing compelling narratives and design proposals.
Own the design and strategy for collaboration experiences critical to driving business impact across the Google Workspace suite.
Inspire and lead cross‑functional partners across the entire Workspace suite to ensure a unified user experience, keeping the user at the center of the process.
Own the UX strategy and design execution for multiple strategic areas within the Generative AI Foundations Platform.
Salary and Benefits The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $224,000–$315,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, level, location, and other factors. Compensation details listed reflect the base salary only.
