Position Overview KPMG is currently seeking a UI/UX Designer (Sr. Associate) to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization.
Responsibilities
Create high‑fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for new features, focusing on intuitive Human‑in‑the‑Loop (HITL) workflows.
Collaborate directly with AI engineers and product managers to translate feature requirements into practical and elegant user interface designs that meet both user and technical needs.
Apply and contribute to our established design system and component libraries, ensuring all new features maintain a high standard of quality, reliability, and visual consistency.
Actively participate in the innovation process by supporting user research and usability testing, gathering insights that help drive the product forward through iterative design enhancements.
Deliver production‑ready design assets and detailed specifications within our Agile framework, ensuring a smooth handoff to the engineering team for implementation.
Engage in design critiques and team workshops, providing and incorporating constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality and creativity of our solutions.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent professional experience in UI/UX design, supported by a strong portfolio that showcases work on complex web applications or enterprise software.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Graphic Arts, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Experience working within an Agile development methodology and familiarity with SDLC tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms for collaboration with engineering teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and collaborate with a cross‑functional team.
Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with a keen interest in tackling the unique design challenges presented by generative AI and data‑intensive applications.
