About the Role We’re looking for a Principal Product Designer to build the next generation of Huckleberry’s mobile product offerings. As a Principal Product Designer, you’ll lead and own design cycles that turn user insight into exceptional, intuitive experiences that delight and empower our users. Areas of Responsibility
Lead and own end‑to‑end new product design, ensuring solutions align with user needs and business goals
Create brand new products and experiences that solve user needs in creative, delightful, and innovative ways by deeply understanding user behaviors, motivations, and pain points, and advocating for user‑centered design decisions
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to define problems, prototype ideas, and deliver high‑quality experiences that ship to users
Leverage data and insights to inform design decisions, validate concepts, and measure impact
Maintain a high standard of craft through thoughtful use of design tools, such as Figma or Sketch, and a design process that showcases clear reasoning and user‑centric decision‑making
Drive innovation by staying curious and informed about evolving design trends, technologies, and best practices, sharing learnings to elevate the team’s collective expertise
Requirements
7+ years of product design experience, with a strong focus on mobile app design
Track record of creating new products or experiences in emerging or undefined spaces
Deep understanding of user‑centered design principles, usability, and accessibility
Demonstrated ability to use data and user feedback to inform, validate, and refine design decisions
Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering closely with engineers, product managers, and researchers to deliver impactful user experiences
Strong curiosity about new design trends, emerging technologies, and best‑in‑class experiences
Strategic mindset with the ability to connect design solutions to business goals and metrics
A portfolio that clearly demonstrates design thinking, decision‑making process, and measurable impact on product outcomes
$140,000 - $180,000 a year
