Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC is seeking a Full‑Time Video Producer to contribute to the team’s creative content efforts and bring the club’s stories to life through visual mediums. This individual will work on all aspects of video production across the entire company, including Switchbacks FC, Switchbacks Entertainment, and Weidner Field, while working within the Switchbacks FC Marketing and Communications department.
Primary Responsibilities
Work matchdays to include home and away
Edit and deliver videos for various departments, media outlets, and social media platforms
Catalog footage to help maintain Switchbacks FC’s archival storage library
Support other aspects of the marketing department, including graphic design, photo and video shoots, and traveling for away match coverage
Capture and deliver content for Switchbacks FC, Switchbacks Entertainment, and Weidner Field as needed
Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Strong video editing skills with an advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent NLE), including After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom or Lightroom Classic
Experience producing high‑level sports videos, short‑form social content, and video mini‑series
Experience with digital video/photo cameras, sound, and lighting techniques
3 or more years working in soccer or similar experience as a video/photo shooter
Ready and available to work non‑traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, including but not limited to Weidner Field events, Switchbacks Entertainment Events, and Switchbacks FC events and home matches
Knowledge and experience in the Sony camera ecosystem and its menus and functionality
Strong emphasis in storytelling
Knowledge and understanding of the soccer landscape, the game, and a passion for growing the organization
