Lift Ventures, a remote-first startup studio, seeks an experienced part‑time AI Content Specialist to support new projects at SuperSummary, our fast‑growing EdTech business. SuperSummary is a subscription‑based website and mobile app offering professionally written Study Guides and literature resources on thousands of books for students, teachers, book club members, and readers of all types.

We are exploring innovative ways to bring high‑quality literature content and tools to our users using AI. By combining literary expertise with new technologies, we aim to ideate and implement scalable content and product innovations that will make SuperSummary a household name in literature.
About The Job
The AI Content Editor is a part‑time contractor role within our AI Innovation team, supporting content development and execution for AI initiatives. Reporting to the Content Innovation Manager, this role combines content skills with enthusiasm for AI to advance project goals and deliver quality AI content solutions. The AI Content Editor will support AI content quality through testing, prompt development, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure all AI‑generated content maintains SuperSummary's high standards while maximizing user engagement and educational value.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of AI content projects from concept through implementation
Test AI content features and tools to ensure quality
Maintain consistency standards for tone, style, and educational approach
Contribute to AI prompt library development and optimization
Conduct competitor research and content analysis
Stay current with AI content tools and best practices through continuous learning
Sample Projects
Develop a prompt system for a new AI content type with guidance from senior team members
Conduct competitor research and compile findings for team review
Assist with quality assurance testing on a new AI tool
Qualifications
Passion for literature and educational content
1‑3 years of content, writing, or related experience (internships and academic projects welcome)
Interest in and basic familiarity with AI content tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
30 hours of availability per week
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
Basic understanding of prompt engineering or willingness to learn quickly
Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for guidance
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills and collaborative attitude
