Position Overview We’re seeking a creative, organized, and community-driven Marketing Coordinator to help amplify the story of Calle 24 and the businesses that make our district thrive. You’ll design and execute marketing strategies that promote our cultural events, local entrepreneurs, and district-wide initiatives — bringing energy, innovation, and authenticity to every campaign. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of culture, community, and creativity. Key Responsibilities Develop Marketing Strategies: Collaborate with the Calle 24 team to design and implement comprehensive marketing plans that promote our mission, events, and small business initiatives. Content Creation & Storytelling: Create engaging and culturally relevant content for our website, social media, newsletters, and print materials — including copywriting, graphic design, and multimedia production. Social Media Management: Oversee Calle 24’s social media platforms. Plan, schedule, and publish content; engage with followers; and track performance to grow our online community. Event Promotion: Lead marketing and outreach efforts for Calle 24’s cultural events, festivals, and workshops — ensuring strong community participation and citywide visibility. Support Local Small Businesses: Develop brand creation and marketing strategies for small businesses within the district. Help entrepreneurs strengthen their visibility, customer engagement, and digital presence. Partnership Development: Build relationships with local organizations, artists, influencers, and media partners to amplify our message and expand our reach. Brand Management: Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and platforms, maintaining a strong and cohesive Calle 24 brand identity. Analytics & Reporting: Track the impact of marketing initiatives through analytics and insights. Present regular reports and recommendations for improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in marketing, ideally in a cultural, nonprofit, or community-focused organization. Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly preferred). Skilled in content creation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.). Experience managing social media and analyzing performance metrics. Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital marketing best practices. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects. Passion for Latino culture, community engagement, and cultural preservation. Competitive salary (commensurate with experience). Health insurance coverage.
