Liquid Development is hiring a remote 3D Environment Artist. Salary: 33 k to 35 k MXN gross per month. Location: Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to a specific art style and address feedback from team leads.
• Collaborate with other artists and world builders to create immersive environments.
• Model environment geometry from simple blockout to finished states.
• UV map and paint custom texture sets or trim sheets for levels.
• Polish environments with detail objects, decals, VFX, and set dressing elements.

Requirements

• Strong reel showcasing proficiency in Environment Art for Video Games (must submit to be considered).
• 3+ years of professional experience working on AAA games with at least one shipped title.
• Proficiency in Maya, Substance Painter, and Unreal Engine 5 (integration, blueprints, performance polish).
• Experience in set dressing.
• Proficient using P4V and Jira/Confluence.

Bonus Points

• Substance Designer experience.
• Materials/Shaders creation.
