Job Reference: Video Quality Specialists We are looking for bilingual individuals with strong technical video knowledge and a background in video editing to join the Welocalize team. Role Summary Review and troubleshoot video content for TV shows and movies for a leading multimedia streaming platform, ensuring they are free of errors. Key Responsibilities Perform quality checks on video and audio streams. Identify, document, and resolve technical issues such as codec errors, frame drops, and audio sync problems. Track recurring issues and propose short and long‑term solutions. Communicate promptly with production and engineering teams. Key Qualifications Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry. Thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio. Willingness to work in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, and changing environment. 2–4 years of experience working with digital video. Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot video/system playback issues and identify trends. Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity with their product offerings. Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills. Bilingual language skills: native speaker fluency in the target language and excellent English proficiency. Employment Details Location: On‑site, North East Austin, TX. Type of employment: W‑2 contract (eligible for benefits based on hours worked). Contract duration: 12‑month contract with possible extension. Working schedule: Full‑time (40 hours per week) with 1 hour unpaid lunch break included. Shift schedule includes at least one weekend day: Sunday–Thursday 10:00 am–7:00 pm or Tuesday–Saturday 10:00 am–7:00 pm. Hourly rate: $27.
