Description
SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for end-to-end development of technical materials such as parts manuals, bill of materials (BOM), operating and maintenance manuals, technical bulletins, work instructions, kit installation instructions and marketing materials. Development includes writing and illustrating by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Writes bill of materials (BOM)
Writes work instructions
Develops Repair Parts Lists for Harlan Tractors and other equipment
Creates and updates illustrations of tractor parts, assemblies and exploded parts breakdowns by importing CAD when available and creating original line art as required
Develops complete tractor parts manuals
Documents and audits assembly; services procedures; and develops step-by-step written descriptions and photographs
Edits photographs as required
Writes and illustrates work instructions, job safety analysis, and technical bulletins
Distributes documents on demand to both internal and external customers
Familiarizes with the latest ISO 9001 requirements
Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Requirements
COMPETENCIES
Education And/Or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
