Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on complex insurance defense issues.
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Prepare detailed reports and summaries for clients and senior attorneys.
- Handle discovery processes, including drafting interrogatories and requests for production.
- Attend hearings and depositions as needed.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals.
- Collaborate with other attorneys on case strategy and development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in Plaintiff Labor & Employment.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
