As a
Digital Asset Specialist , you’ll play a key role in supporting the production and creative efforts of our project—maintaining digital content pipelines, organizing and tracking assets, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and communication across teams and projects.

What you will do
Facilitate and maintain a comprehensive digital asset library of references and collections from across The Walt Disney Company.
Fulfill asset requests and assist users in obtaining access and locating desired assets in a timely manner.
Conduct QA and compatibility tests using proprietary tools and software to ensure assets meet formatting standards.
Enter detailed metadata into the asset database for accurate tracking and retrieval.
Communicate with key stakeholders and partners across Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm when assets have been properly stored or accessed.
Collaborate with Operations, Production, Creative, and external partners to organize and deliver content, feedback, and information that supports project needs.
Support workflows and contribute to process optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with Disney’s standards of quality and authenticity.
Required Qualifications and Skills
4 years of experience specifically in art asset pipeline management and/or production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment.
Deep understanding of game and film development workflows, digital art methodologies, and entertainment industry‑standard tools, including programs such as Maya, Substance Painter, Houdini, and Unreal Engine.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D software environments and knowledge of asset file formats such as FBX, USD, and Ptex, including their benefits and common challenges.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitate smooth, effective communication and collaboration.
Deep appreciation for Disney’s brands and their cultural significance.
Respectful and supportive of the contributions of every team member and stakeholder, with an ability to understand and respond to diverse team needs.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $72,000 to $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
