About The Role
For our Italian factory named Thin Film Equipment S.r.l., we have a new job opportunity in the Production Team as Mechanical Designer reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.
We’re looking for a dynamic and autonomous professional, eager to take ownership of designing activities in a growing environment. This position involves discussing technical topics related to thin film deposition in high vacuum equipment. Requirements
Based in Milan area or nearby
A few years of experience in mechanical design
Excellent knowledge of major SW applications (Inventor, SolidWorks)
Customer-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal, teamwork and listening skills
Good command of Microsoft Office
English language proficiency needed
Main Tasks
Carry out the mechanical design activities for new and used systems, kits, components and any other equipment under the direction of the Manufacturing Manager
Ensure proper management, update, storage and access to the library of all existing mechanical designs
Set up the Bill of Materials for new and used systems, kits, components and any other equipment as needed
Cooperate with internal and external operations in components manufacturing, systems assembly and overall systems testing
Support the Manufacturing Manager in all activities of updating current systems, development of new systems, components procurement, obsolescence management and technical assistance to customers
Cooperate with the Manufacturing Team in stock management, cost optimization, lead time reduction and any other activity to improve overall manufacturing performance
Carry out all necessary activities for facility management and general maintenance in the production plant
Support the Manufacturing Manager in Health, Safety and Environment activities
