Overview ARM Group is seeking a self-driven, energetic, experienced Civil AutoCAD Designer who embodies an ownership mentality. As an AutoCAD Designer, you will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists, project managers, and other staff to meet the high standards of service we provide to our clients. This role supports a wide range of projects related to solid waste, environmental services, oil and gas, water resources, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control planning, wastewater, and geotechnical services.
Location: This position can be filled in any ARM Group location
Responsibilities Efficiently generate grading plans, profiles, sections, and details
Prepare earthwork cut/fill analysis and provide reporting to other team members for use in preparing project designs
Prepare maps, diagrams, figures for inclusion in client documents, presentations, meetings, and technical reports
Prepare technical plan layouts and construction drawings
Support professional and technical staff in preparing project deliverables
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of AutoCAD drafting and grading plan experience
Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; proven drafting presentation skills
Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
A self-starter who can work with limited supervision, on budget, within expected timeframes, and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team or independently
Secondary degree in CAD/Survey Technology or Engineering preferred
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills with adaptability
Desire to work on multiple projects in parallel rather than a single large project for months

Compensation $56,000-$84,800 per year, based on experience
