Creative Operations Coordinator – 6 Month Temporary Assignment

We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture and protecting the environment. This 6‑month temporary assignment is remote and offers a competitive hourly rate of $23.00‑$25.00. Monday‑Friday, 40 hours per week.
About The Role As Creative Operations Coordinator, you will keep the in‑house creative team running smoothly. You will plan intake, prioritize deliverables, manage freelance support, maintain digital asset metadata, and improve project workflows.
Responsibilities
Support freelance contracting, onboarding, and invoice tracking.
Schedule video pre‑production meetings and organize deliverable requirements for photographers and videographers.
Research permissions and provide documentation for safe passage of creative talent.
Partner with creative leadership to balance workloads across channels.
Apply consistent metadata and taxonomy in our DAMs (Bynder, Iconik, Opti CMP Library).
Ensure assets are searchable, rights‑cleared, and optimized for reuse.
Support asset governance, archiving processes, and monthly audit of Opti workflows.
Manage incoming Opti CMP Creative Request intake, tracking to completion.
Maintain and improve workflows between creative and internal departments.
Anticipate bottlenecks and resolve conflicts in timelines, resources, or priorities.
Keep project management tools (JIRA, Opti CMP) accurate and up to date.
Document and refine best practices, templates, and operational standards.
Serve as connector between design and other teams, ensuring deliverables align with goals.
Act as central point of contact for project status and capacity updates.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or related work experience.
2‑4 years of experience in creative operations, project coordination, or traffic management.
Familiarity with creative workflows, production processes, and design team needs.
Experience with project management systems (JIRA, Opti One/CMP, Trello, or equivalent).
Comfort working with digital asset management systems and metadata standards.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Interest in or experience with nonprofits, education, or travel industries.
