Role Description Redefined Media is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Videographer & Editor to join our team on a monthly retainer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys capturing authentic moments, and can balance creativity with consistency and accountability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pre-production planning, shooting, and editing video content. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras, setting up lighting equipment, capturing high-quality footage, and ensuring post-production edits meet creative goals. The role requires collaboration with clients and team members to produce compelling visual content that aligns with project objectives.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Video Production, including pre- and post-production workflows

Experience with Camera Operation and Shooting Video

Strong skills in Lighting setup and techniques

Proficiency in handling Camera equipment and ensuring optimal performance

Attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality video content

Time-management skills to meet deadlines and maintain project timelines

Access to reliable transportation and gear (camera setup preferred but not required)

Positive, adaptable attitude and strong work ethic

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or related field is a plus

Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a valuable asset

Responsibilities

Film and edit 1–2 videos per week based on assigned project load

Shoot 2 half-days (4 hours each) or 1 full-day (8 hours) per week

Prioritize Redefined Media shoots and editing deadlines

Capture high-quality event coverage, lifestyle footage, and behind-the-scenes content

Serve as 2nd Camera Operator or Assistant Camera on larger productions

Manage and organize footage efficiently for post-production workflows

Ensure all edits are completed on time and meet creative direction

Maintain consistent communication with the Creative Producer and team

Be available for evening and weekend shoots, especially event coverage.
