Principal Telecommunications Expense (TEM) Manager , you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer'll be part of a dynamic team that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.

As a Principal Telecommunications Expense (TEM) Manager, you'll analyze expenses for the entire wired, wireless, voice, and data environment to optimize the enterprise operating expenses. You'll manage key TEM functions, including contract administration, inventory, invoice management, audits, and more, aligned with federal standards like FAR, NIST, and ITIL 4 practices.

Location Requirement The successful candidate must be located within 50 miles of Vicksburg, MS.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

6 years of experience in telecommunications expense management (TEM), with hands‑on analysis of wired/wireless/voice/data environments in government or large enterprise settings

Proven expertise in TEM functions such as contract administration, inventory/invoice management, audits, rate optimization, procurement, disputes, and ServiceDesk support

Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)

Strong knowledge of federal procurement and financial standards (e.g., FAR, DFARS) and ITIL practices for service financial management

Proficiency in TEM tools (e.g., Tangoe, Calero, or similar platforms) and data analytics for expense optimization

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills for vendor negotiations and stakeholder reporting

Applies extensive expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines, with the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Certified Inventory Management Professional (CIMP) certification

Experience supporting DoD or large federal telecom environments, including multi‑carrier integrations and cost recovery projects

ITIL 4 Foundation or higher certification, with focus on service value system and continual improvement

Background in advanced analytics (e.g., SQL for CDR queries) and procurement automation

Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., Certified Telecommunications Analyst - CTA)

Pay Information Full‑Time Salary Range: $94728 - $161038

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
