In this role, you’ll lead a team to prototype fast, find the fun, and build on that foundation through liveops and data-informed design. You’ll partner with product, UX/UI, and community teams to understand player motivations and create experiences that resonate across a wide audience. Above all, you’ll champion a collaborative, ambitious culture that pushes design quality and player joy to new heights.
In this role, you will
Own, drive, and collaborate with stakeholders on the design vision for a broad-reaching multiplatform experience
Nurture a collaborative and ambitious creative environment that gets the best out of the team and sets the bar for quality
Drive fast, iterative prototyping to find core fun, and then refine and expand on that foundation with liveops principles and data-informed design
Work with product, UX/UI, and community teams to better understand audience behaviour and serve the needs/aspirations of a wide audience
Help push the craft of design forward across the team
What we're looking for
10+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a hands‑on game designer, design leader, and gameplay inventor
Strong interest in the LEGO brand, lifestyle games, and player‑first mobile gaming
Extensive experience blending open‑ended fun with engagement and cadence solutions that give players long‑term goals and meaningful shared experiences
Demonstrated talent for empathizing with players and a deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and the effects of goal setting on play
Technical skill in designing and prototyping design features to test fun and iterate as fast as possible alongside skilled engineering and art teams
Player‑focused, solution‑seeking, and passionate problem‑solving, always looking for a way to make things more fun
