The Opportunity
National Development, a leading real estate investment, development, and management company, is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to join our top‑notch Marketing & Communications team in Newton, MA.
Description The ideal candidate will pair strong foundational design skills with curiosity for emerging tools, from Adobe Creative Suite to Canva, Gamma, and AI‑based design platforms. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and is hybrid with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week in the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design visual materials for corporate and property initiatives, including brochures, presentations, flyers, invitations, reports, signage, and digital assets.
Lead creative development for new property brands, from logos and color palettes to full identity systems.
Design environmental and experiential graphics such as building signage, wayfinding, and leasing banners.
Adapt creative for digital platforms including websites, emails, and social media.
Create and refine maps, site plans, and aerial overlays that visually communicate property context, access, and surrounding amenities.
Explore and implement new design tools (Canva, Gamma, AI platforms) to enhance workflow and support onsite teams.
Manage vendor relationships, maintain the photo/digital asset library, and uphold design consistency across all touchpoints.
Collaborate with colleagues across marketing, investment, development, and property management teams.
What You Bring to Us
5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in real estate, architecture, or related fields.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Familiarity with or enthusiasm to explore tools like Canva, Gamma, Figma, and AI‑powered design platforms.
Strong understanding of typography, layout, and brand systems.
Experience managing multiple brands simultaneously.
Familiarity with mapping and site planning tools, such as Google Earth, GIS platforms, or Adobe Illustrator for map rendering and annotation.
Exposure to environmental or signage design preferred.
Basic knowledge of digital design, email platforms, or light video editing a plus.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to collaborate and experiment.
