Infernozilla, a company located in Dallas, Texas, is currently searching for an approachable, intelligent, and supportive Community Manager. Our agency is a small team with a strong passion for games and making indie games successful. We have a diverse group of international employees working remotely.
We strive to ensure all our clients are fully supported. Our vision is to be the go-to agency for indie game community management, social media management, marketing, and related services. Recently, we have expanded into indie game website building and full publishing.

Role Overview
As a Community Manager at Infernozilla, you will connect client studios and players via forums, Discord, Steam, and other platforms. Defining and refining each client’s community tone will be crucial, especially during the launch of new titles and maintaining active communities for established ones. You will also contribute to marketing efforts for indie games. Responsibilities
Update, monitor, and engage with forums across multiple platforms including emails, Steam, Discord, Reddit, and Imgur. Lead creative community initiatives and events to engage players. Identify issues in Discord, implement bots, recruit moderators, and improve server performance. Respond promptly and professionally to press emails. Manage support tickets in Discord and Steam, providing helpful support and escalating issues when necessary. Analyze Discord data to develop community strategies and improve member retention. Recruit, manage, and support volunteer moderators and client team members. Support customers, influencers, and partners through various communication channels. Build rapport with clients to meet their community needs. Coordinate with your Team Lead to shape platform strategies. Assist in marketing activities as needed. Qualifications
Excellent communication skills, able to turn negative interactions into positive experiences. Passion for writing and engaging with community members and press. Experience with Discord, ideally as a server owner or moderator, or willingness to learn. Motivated by community engagement; resilient to negative comments. Strong time management skills to handle multiple platforms and emails. Gamer with industry knowledge, passionate about video games. Energetic and enthusiastic, with a professional attitude. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Education and Experience
Community management and industry experience preferred over formal education. Experience in community management, communications, social media, or marketing is highly valued. If you are passionate about gaming, community engagement, and helping others, this role is for you!
