Job Summary The Campus Store is seeking a creative and reliable Part‑Time Marketing Coordinator to support our retail marketing efforts and help drive engagement through on‑campus activations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and is looking to gain valuable experience in all aspects of marketing including social media/events/campaign planning/advertising and is passionate about connecting with the campus community.

Responsibilities

Retail Marketing Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that promote store products, seasonal promotions, and special offers.

Event Activation: Help coordinate and staff marketing activations at campus events, tailgates, and pop‑ups. Ensure brand visibility and customer engagement at each event.

Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Campus Store Partnerships Coordinator to support sales initiatives, including promotional outreach, merchandising support, and customer engagement strategies.

Content Creation: Contribute to the development of marketing materials such as signage, social media content, and email campaigns tailored to retail promotions.

Daily Marketing Operations: Maintain a consistent presence to support daily marketing tasks, campaign tracking, and coordination with store staff.

Minimum Qualifications EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :

1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Requires little to no related experience.

Preferences

Experience or education in Marketing, Communications, Retail, or a related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work a set schedule every day of the week.

Comfortable working in a retail and event‑based environment.

Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc).
