Corporate Marketing Liaison
We are searching for an organized and experienced healthcare Corporate Marketing Liaison with the ability to develop business and build census in a Skilled Nursing environment. This position requires a creative and strategic thinker preferably with established relationships within the healthcare community of Vance, Granville and Durham counties. As a Liaison you will be expected to act as a connection between your facility and the community at large with a focus on hospitals, Physicians, Medical Groups, Managed Care Providers, and the Senior Healthcare population. You will be called upon to create networks, track referral trends, identify internal and external barriers, and execute strategic and effective marketing plans that result in census building. This is a hands‑on position and will entail direct interaction with medical documentation, patient assessment, and effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. SUMMARY
Creates and maintains effective markets for facility services by developing and sustaining referral relationships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop strategies to maximize admissions of residents in accordance with facility and regional sales plan. Review census management practice guidelines, analyze trends, and take action to avert deterioration of market share. Develop marketing tools for assigned facilities and hospital accounts. Responsible for relationship development and management of health partners and organizations; source new business. Anticipate and eliminate potential conflicts between internal teams and health partners and/or families/residents. Coordinate external marketing of facilities within the community through health providers and organizations. Work with local community agencies to generate a positive image and encourage word‑of‑mouth referrals. Plan and oversee the execution of community‑based promotional events, open houses, and educational seminars. Participate in corporate trade shows, health fairs, and marketing activities, as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred. One to three (1‑3) years experience in health care, long‑term care industry, or insurance sales/marketing. Strong technical writing skills. Public relations experience preferred. Familiar with medical terminology. Superior presentation skills – both one‑on‑one and group. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT
Working in normal office environment, employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, see, talk and hear. May occasionally lift medium to heavy objects including assisting with the movement of residents.
