We’re hiring a

Short-Form Video Producer

to help grow our digital presence and bring our message to life on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. This person will create sharp, engaging videos that connect with audiences in real time — from quick edits reacting to breaking news, to on-the-ground clips from Capitol Hill or campaign events. We’re looking for someone who moves fast, thrives in a campaign-style environment, and understands how to make content that stops the scroll. Key Responsibilities

Concept, shoot, and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms. Stay ahead of social trends and translate them into smart, mission-driven content. Work with the digital team to develop creative strategies that build Protect Our Care’s brand and grow our audience. Capture and edit rapid-response content during key news moments, protests, and events — especially in Washington, DC. Support the team with additional video content, from interviews to event recaps. Manage multiple projects at once and deliver high-quality edits on tight timelines. Maintain an organized archive of video footage and assets. Qualifications

2-3+ years of experience creating and editing video content for digital platforms — ideally in campaigns, advocacy, or journalism. Expert in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or other video editing software; familiarity with After Effects and other editing tools is a plus. Proven ability to produce compelling short-form videos optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Strong creative instincts — knows what works on each platform and how to adapt messaging for different audiences. Comfortable filming in fast-paced environments and appearing on-camera for quick explainer or reaction videos when needed. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality. Based in or able to travel frequently to Washington, DC, for filming at the Capitol, events, and interviews. with the subject line “Short-Form Video Producer.” Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. Comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees (and their families). Employees are able to enroll in 401k retirement plans and are eligible for a 3% automatic contribution and up to a 3% employer match on 401k contributions. Employees are also eligible for pre-tax transportation benefits. Employees will receive 120 hours of vacation time, 80 hours of health leave, up to 2 days of casual leave, and 20 hours of volunteer leave annually. Employees will also receive 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are eligible for 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave after 90 days of employment. Hiring Statement
