The Role The Platform Design and Research team plays a critical role in executing our vision to create economic freedom. We build secure, trusted, and easy‑to‑use cryptocurrency products for millions of users.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and execute complex design initiatives spanning multiple product areas.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to shape product vision and strategy.
Define and inform user experience of critical customer journeys.
Partner with Design Systems to create scalable patterns and components.
Conduct in‑depth analysis of user needs and business requirements.
Participate in all project phases, ensuring design excellence.
Mentor other designers and contribute to a culture of innovation.
Experiment with emerging AI tools to accelerate workflows.
What We Look For in You
Expertise in Product Design : 10+ years designing consumer‑facing web and mobile products.
Systems Thinking : Design at scale, reusable patterns, efficient consistency.
Collaboration and Influence : Influence stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and XFN.
Strategic Impact : Drive design strategy with measurable business outcomes.
Technical Proficiency : Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools, user research studies.
Low Ego, High Impact : Collaborative, open‑minded, simplify complexity.
Nice to Haves
Previous design experience in FinTech or crypto.
Familiarity with the cryptocurrency ecosystem and Coinbase products.
Platform experience.
