Job Description As a Network Communications Systems Specialist, you’ll supervise network management functions while overseeing integrated control centers and multichannel communications systems. Your duties include installing tactical fiber and cable wiring, troubleshooting network assets, reengineering network assets to support operational requirements, and performing routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles, power generators, and equipment.
Requirements: U.S. Citizen, Age 17–34, High School Diploma or GED. Must meet tattoo guidelines, have no major law violations, no significant medical concerns, and be eligible for a Secret Security Clearance. Training & Certifications include 140 nationally recognized certifications available, 10 weeks of Basic Training, 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, ASVAB scores of 102 (Electronics) and 102 (Skilled Technical). Skills learned: Electronic Troubleshooting, Maintenance & Repairs, Network Administration.
