Job Description AECOM is actively seeking an *Entry Level Landscape Architecture Designer* for immediate employment in the New York City Landscape Architecture + Urban Design Studio located in midtown Manhattan. The role involves collaborating with design studio leadership, project teams, and technical consultants to produce landscape design solutions and support project execution across the New York City metropolitan area and beyond.
Responsibilities
Perform design work of landscape architecture studio under the direction and supervision of design leadership.
Prepare materials for client and agency meetings.
Conduct basic landscape architecture calculations under team lead supervision.
Prepare reports and related data tables.
Prepare and edit drawings as required.
Assist with construction administration tasks under team lead supervision.
Minimum Requirements
B.A./B.S. in Landscape Architecture or related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of professional experience.
Experience generating 2D and 3D design graphics.
Experience preparing construction documents, reports, and publication documents.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino.
Strong time‑management and self‑editing skills.
Ability to create compelling open‑space designs and advance work through technical design phases.
Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
Experience with Microstation, Grasshopper, Revit, ArcGIS, and related computer applications.
Knowledge or interest in plant materials, site grading, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000 per year, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
