Monaire
Somerville, United States | Posted on 11/06/2025
Monaire is transforming how commercial buildings manage HVAC systems through AI-powered automation and insights. We combine sensors, smart thermostats, and machine learning to deliver massive energy savings, operational transparency, and sustainability impact.
We’re growing fast across commercial and enterprise portfolios — and we’re looking for a marketing leader who can build and scale our
inbound demand generation engine
from zero to repeatable motion.
What You’ll Do You’ll own Monaire’s inbound funnel end-to-end — strategy, execution, and optimization. This is not a “manage the agency” role. You’ll architect the systems, test relentlessly, and double down on what works.
Your core responsibilities:
Own the inbound strategy
— build and continuously optimize a high-ROI funnel that converts awareness into qualified pipeline across commercial building owners, operators, and C‑suite facilities teams.
Design and test campaigns
across channels — email, cold outreach, physical mailers, events, digital ads, and content. Find creative angles that cut through.
Develop the ICP and messaging framework
— distill Monaire’s value into simple, sharp narratives that speak to cost savings, operational reliability, and sustainability.
Run experiments like a scientist
— track metrics, analyze conversion paths, and use data to iterate weekly.
Collaborate cross-functionally
with product, sales, and customer success to align messaging and qualify inbound leads.
Own marketing analytics
— instrument the CRM, funnel tracking, and reporting dashboards to identify bottlenecks and double down on what moves the needle.
Build the foundation
— establish our inbound playbook, nurture sequences, and partner ecosystems so we can scale with minimal friction.
Requirements Who You Are
You’re a hybrid: analytical and creative, scrappy and strategic. You’ve built inbound funnels before, preferably for a B2B SaaS or climate/IoT company, and you thrive in zero-to-one environments.
5+ years in marketing, growth, or demand gen — ideally in B2B SaaS, cleantech, or IoT
Demonstrated success designing and optimizing multi‑channel campaigns
Proficient in HubSpot (or equivalent), CRM analytics, and A/B testing tools
Strong copywriting instincts and an ability to translate technical value into business ROI
Bias toward execution: you test, learn, and iterate faster than others can plan
Have experience selling to facilities, operations, or energy management professionals
Have built inbound systems from scratch (tools, workflows, automation)
Can code in SQL or build dashboards to self‑serve your insights
Have worked in an early‑stage startup or energy/proptech environment
Mission‑driven: Reduce carbon emissions and operational costs for the built environment
Early ownership: You’ll define how Monaire grows
Fast feedback loop: Your campaigns will have visible, immediate impact on revenue
Work with a sharp, motivated team of engineers, designers, and operators building category‑defining tech
Competitive base salary and meaningful equity
