Animationsinstitut at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg trains outstanding talents at the highest level in the fields of animation, visual effects, technical direction, animation/effects producing and interactive media. In addition, the institute runs a research & development department. We are offering a Science Communication & Events Coordination (Reallabor and VISTA) (m/f/d) position within the research project “Reallabor Metaverse”, starting 01.01.2026 or later in full‑time (39.5 hours per week), for a period of two years. Your tasks Science communication on project progress and advances Development of Social Media Campaigns Visual development of promotion materials, logos, posters… Collaboration and exchange with partnering projects Organization of events for dedicated target groups Editorial for (scientific) journal contributions Your profile Intrinsic motivation, interest and deep understanding of technology and its creative potential Completed studies or several years of professional experience in communication or public relations specialist or a similar role in communications High level of creativity and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop innovative communication solutions Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of social media management, digital marketing and SEO practices Familiarity with the latest tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems and graphic design software Exceptional inter‑personal skills, problem solving and development Secure handling in digital communication tools and structures such as wiki, email, project management tools, etc. Organizational talent, resilient, versatile and flexible, ability to work in a team Good knowledge of English Valid work permit within the European Union You have a sense of social responsibility and are open and sensitive to sustainability, diversity and equal opportunities The job offers A unique working environment tightly connected to academia and industry Versatile and varied tasks in a highly motivated team of researchers Flexible working hours and mobile work with predominant presence in Ludwigsburg Further training opportunities As an educational institution, Filmakademie shapes the visual and media landscape of tomorrow.
