About The Role
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced, innovative group supporting critical facility and process upgrades. Our ideal candidate will have experience in architectural, electrical, and P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) CAD work, and will collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams. Remote work is available and encouraged for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Create, revise, and maintain CAD drawings to support architectural layouts, electrical schematics, and P&IDs for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site
Collaborate remotely and onsite with process engineers, architects, and electrical engineering teams to gather requirements and execute drawing updates
Develop and manage drawing packages for project submittals, permitting, and construction
Incorporate project specifications, site sketches, and markups into detailed CAD designs
Coordinate with QA/QC, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and company practices
Assist in document control and version management for all CAD deliverables
Participate in remote design reviews and provide recommendations for drawing improvements
Ensure that CAD layouts comply with relevant codes and cGMP/regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical facilities
Requirements
Proven proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent CAD platforms) with a portfolio supporting architectural, electrical, and/or process (P&ID) design
Minimum 2 years CAD experience (pharmaceutical, biotech, or related FDA/regulated industry highly preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment while staying communicative and responsive to project updates
Familiarity with typical pharmaceutical facility layouts, clean room design, and electrical system integration is a plus
Experience with P&ID standards and coordination between disciplines (process, architecture, MEP)
Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple design packages
