Overview Job Title: Mechanical Designer (material handling equipment) – Mining Projects Location: Centerville, UT (Hybrid Schedule) Type: Contract (Minimum 6 Months, Potential for Extension) About the Role You'll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design—especially in mining—you'll hit the ground running. Responsibilities Design and layout of modular material handling systems Engineering of various conveyors, including radial stackers, feed and transfer conveyors Design and integration of crushing systems: tertiary, secondary crushers, feeders, hoppers, and bins Layouts for screeners, vibrating grizzly feeders, and hoppers Design of dust control systems, including baghouses, blowers, and dust collectors Qualifications Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects Experience with gold mining operations is a plus, but not required Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Strong knowledge of relevant design standards and material handling equipment Hourly wage: $45-$70.
