We're Hiring: Music Therapist – Bring Healing Through Harmony!
Schedule: Full-Time | Department: Allied Therapy
Do you believe music can change lives? We do too. We're looking for a passionate and board-certified Music Therapist to join our creative and collaborative Allied Therapy team, helping children and adolescents (ages 3–18) thrive in an inpatient psychiatric setting. What You’ll Do:
Complete assessments, set individualized goals, and document patient progress
Facilitate individual and group music therapy sessions using clinically sound and age-appropriate interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and attend regular rounds
Respond to behavioral health crises, assisting with verbal de-escalation (and, at times, physical restraint)
Use your musical talents and therapeutic skills to support emotional expression, regulation, and connection

Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and Board Certification (CBMT)
Preferred: 1–3 years of experience with children/adolescents in a psychiatric setting
Experience with a range of musical modalities and therapeutic approaches
Ability to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive therapeutic environment
Bonus (and Required) Training:
CPR and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (with Advanced Physical Skills) within 3 months of hire
Lifeguard certification, ropes course training, and food handling certification (yes, we’re adventurous like that!)
Must be 18+
