Overview Producer (52544) - First State Community Bank First State Insurance Agency Company Information: a subsidiary of First State Bancshares, a growing insurance and financial services organization serving most states. Our home office is in Farmington, MO, with numerous locations throughout Missouri. We are looking for a Commercial Lines Producer focused on the production of new commercial lines, while providing financial services and benefits to new clients and retaining existing clients. Responsibilities Work with the Commercial Lines Account Manager and directly with customers Provide leadership, direction and encouragement to the team to create a positive atmosphere, exceptional service, revenue/policy growth and improved customer retention Provide Account Managers with remarketing/marketing instructions on all accounts Document all transactions, activities and communications in AMS Stay informed of markets and products offered by our carriers Obtain signed finance agreements and approval for any special financing Attend Agency-wide staff meetings and appropriate Department meetings Review proposals for accuracy before presenting to new or renewal clients Meet regularly with Account Managers to review new business and upcoming renewals Be responsible for collection of accounts receivable Coordinate with Account Managers on placement of all coverage What You Can Expect Competitive pay and benefits package - with variable compensation program based on team performance 401(k) with generous employer match benefit Helpful, qualified, and available leadership A caring, stable work environment Qualifications Strong computer skills showing proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and AMS360 Minimum 2 to 5 years in Insurance Account Management Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance License Insurance designations a plus: CISR, CIC, CPCU, CLU, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic, and adaptable Additional Information Being a First Stater means that you roll up your sleeves and dig in.
