About the Role
The Social Media Manager plays a key role in shaping and executing the company’s social media strategy to strengthen brand presence, engage audiences, and drive measurable results. This position is responsible for managing the company’s social media accounts, developing content, analyzing results, optimizing campaigns, and reporting. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics.
The ideal candidate for this position will be well-organized, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. The candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, be able to develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with business goals. This role requires someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, can balance multiple priorities, and is passionate about building authentic connections with online communities.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement data-driven social media strategies that align with brand objectives and marketing initiatives
Oversee content calendars, campaign planning, and posting schedules to ensure consistent and timely delivery
Identify opportunities for brand growth across emerging platforms and audience segments
Content Creation & Management
Plan, create, and publish high-quality, engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to develop visually compelling and brand-consistent campaigns (basic graphic design and video editing skills required; you’ll create some content independently and work with designers for larger campaigns)
Attend company events and participate in the content creation in front of camera, as necessary
Maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across all social channels
Manage user-generated content and brand advocacy initiatives
Community Management
Manage and grow the company's online community by engaging with followers, responding to messages and comments, and fostering brand loyalty
Monitor social conversations and handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly
Help manage brand reputation and respond appropriately to negative feedback

Analytics & Optimization
Analyze performance metrics, track KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions, CPC, etc.), and provide actionable insights on quarterly and annual reports
Conduct A/B testing to optimize content performance
Present performance updates and strategic recommendations to marketing leadership
Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience managing professional social media accounts and campaigns with demonstrated results
Proven ability to create and execute social media strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
Strong writing and storytelling skills with an understanding of platform-specific best practices
Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.)
Some experience running paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) (budget management experience is a plus!)
Skilled in content creation tools such as Canva, ManyChat, AI copywriting tools, InShot, etc. (for basic graphic design and video editing)
Strong understanding of emerging platforms, social algorithms, and engagement trends
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
Portfolio of previous social media work demonstrating creativity and results (required with application)
Preferred Skills
Experience in influencer marketing, user-generated content, or brand advocacy programs
Basic photography and videography skills
Experience with social listening tools (Brandwatch, etc.)
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the Creative, Product, and Customer Support teams. This is an individual contributor role with potential to grow.
Work Site
On-site Monday-Friday with the potential to move into a hybrid role.
