Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multidisciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers. As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross‑functional partners to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.

The YouTube Ads UX team’s mission is to “Power the YouTube ecosystem by keeping it free and engaging for users, responsibly rewarding creators, and connecting businesses to their unique audiences.” Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google.

US base salary range for this full‑time position is $129,000‑$185,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location; individual pay varies by location and additional factors.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational excellence across UX teams, while building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across program work.
  • Develop a plan to assess continuous improvement opportunities for UX programs and processes. Decide on the method to collect data, analyze the data for insights, propose improvements, and test them with stakeholders.
  • Provide input to defining metrics that drive a culture of user‑centered development and demonstrate UX impact based on program needs, and facilitate alignment within UX. Execute plans to establish baselines, track, and report on UX metrics.
  • Scale, prioritize, and execute project plans end‑to‑end, optimizing resourcing, time, and funding investment.
