Job Description

Join our team as a Network Communications Systems Specialist. You will lead in overseeing network management functions, integrated control centers, and multichannel communications systems. Your responsibilities include installing tactical fiber and cable wiring, troubleshooting network assets, reengineering networks to support operational requirements, and performing routine maintenance checks on vehicles, power generators, and equipment.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Age 17–34 years
• High School Diploma or GED
• No major law violations
• No significant medical concerns
• Eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
• Trainable in 10 weeks of Basic Training and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• ASVAB scores: Electronics (EL) ≥ 102, Skilled Technical (ST) ≥ 100
• Must meet tattoo guidelines

Training & Certification

Attend a 29-week paid training program to gain skills and certifications in communication network operations, electronic troubleshooting, fiberoptic cable installation, network engineering, and hardware maintenance. Advanced certifications require additional fully funded training programs.

Upon successful completion of the first term contract, you are guaranteed up to 5 interviews with leading organizations such as Charter Communications, Tesla, and Cox Communications. Other career fields include Internetworking Technician, Radio, Cellular, and Tower Equipment Installers and Repairers, and Computer System Analyst.
