We’re seeking a Product Manager for After Effects, a pivotal role in crafting the future of professional media software for a highly engaged userbase of creative artists. This is an outstanding opportunity to help drive the evolution of one of the industry’s most iconic tools.

What you'll Do

As Product Manager, you’ll lead initiatives from concept through execution, thoughtfully balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and prioritizing product development efforts for your team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, design, program management, marketing, and data science to drive meaningful impact
  • Conducting user research and market analysis to guide strategic decisions
  • Championing the voice of the customer and advocating for their needs
  • Staying attuned to the evolving landscape of digital media and creative industries

What you need to succeed

5+ years of experience in Product Management.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business, Film, Design or similar field; MBA preferred.

Strategic approach: Ability to operate at a broad strategic level as well as drill down into the details. Proven ability to translate vision into actionable product strategies and navigate complex organizational dynamics.

Business and user research skills: Experience leading customer research, making decisions using both quantitative and qualitative data, analyzing market opportunities and understanding the needs of professional users.

Technical expertise: Comfortable collaborating on technical decisions; practiced in the art of the possible. Able to engage with in-development features from early research prototypes to production. Proficient in defining roadmaps and delivering with teams that employ agile software development methodologies.

Exceptional communication skills, driving consensus and articulating complex ideas clearly to a variety of audiences.

Familiarity with digital media workflows, such motion or graphic design, visual effects, video editing, or creative coding, is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $102,000 – $197,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
