KMCC/KTNV, the E.W. Scripps stations in Las Vegas, Nevada are searching for a Sports Photographer to capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms. The role partners with The Vegas Golden Knights, the Aces, Raiders games, and UNLV events. Flexibility is required for team schedules—shifts include nights, weekends, and general newsroom assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms.
  • Operate and maintain live equipment including microwave, satellite and other news gathering equipment.
  • Collaborate with newsroom personnel to create and develop news stories.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Generally 2+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to provide proof of insurance with company‑required coverage limits.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency with lighting and computer-based editing.
  • Proficiency with live microwave truck operation.
  • Demonstrated creativity, editorial judgment, and knowledge of journalistic ethics and libel laws.
  • Proficiency in posting content to station websites.
  • Ability to work efficiently under multiple daily deadlines.
