Salem Media’s fast‑growing Salem News Channel (SNC) — featuring America’s top conservative voices and straight news — seeks a versatile Producer.

Responsibilities

• Pre: Research, curate clips and sound bytes for the show, write and distribute rundowns, confirm and plan live ad reads for the show each day, pitch topics, pitch and book guests.
• Live: Prep the team, manage on‑screen appearance of host, manage show clock and segment timing, ensure top quality; write lower‑third headlines, assist with call‑in phone lines and screening when necessary.
• Post: Route files to editors, choose and post social clips, write title and description for VOD show, ensure show is posted for VOD, write show summary for podcast version of the show.
• Additional: Build news packages, edit for air, fill in as needed, monitor network quality and send notes to shows as needed, curate and post clips to social media, QC and check VOD content, plan shows for holidays, coordinate guest hosts for days that host is out, coordinate with Executive Network Producer on assignments and tasks as needed.
• All tasks assigned by the Director of Network Operations and the Executive Network Producer.

Qualifications

• Sharp news judgment.
• Rundown creation & talent prep.
• Start/end streams; troubleshoot live.
• Comfortable directing talent & booking guests.
• Highly organized.
• Proficient: Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Enthusiastic about learning new skills.
