About the Role Apex Systems is seeking a Lead Consultant to join our US & Practice team within the Solutions Delivery Organization. As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, you will design, manage, and implement applications that deliver the highest quality experience to our customers. You will be a resourceful problem solver with a passion for creating innovative solutions and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand marketing goals, campaign requirements, and customer journey needs.

Design, build, and optimize customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.

Develop personalized and dynamic campaigns leveraging AMPscript, SQL queries, and segmentation strategies.

Configure and maintain data extensions, subscriber lists, and data models to ensure accurate targeting.

Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other Salesforce Clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud) and external platforms.

Conduct A/B testing, campaign analysis, and performance reporting to improve engagement and ROI.

Provide training, documentation, and support to marketing teams for effective use of SFMC tools.

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations across all digital communications.

Maintain knowledge on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.

Requirements

3+ years working as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or in a similar digital marketing automation role.

Practical expertise in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification.

Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, HTML, and CSS for campaign personalization and optimization.

Experience with data modeling, segmentation, and ETL within Marketing Cloud.

Familiarity with Marketing Cloud Connect and integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign metrics and optimize strategies.

Ability to drive adoption and training for SFMC users.

Excellent communication, client-facing ability, and project management skills.
