Overview

Senior Instructional Designer Partner Enablement at Thales. Location: Texas, United States (remote outside US, preferably EST or CST time zone). The role supports design and development of scalable training solutions for our global network of channel partners who resell cybersecurity products (Data Security, Application Security, Identity & Access Management). Responsibilities

Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to develop engaging learning experiences for sales and pre-sales technical personas. Develop high-impact instructional content (e-learning modules, video scripts, job aids, ILT, vILT) using tools like Articulate 360, Camtasia, or similar. Design learning paths and role-based curricula for partner onboarding, product knowledge, competitive positioning, and sales enablement. Incorporate assessments (quizzes, certifications, practical activities) to measure knowledge retention and learner effectiveness. Use Thales brand guidelines in all training materials. Design and develop SCORM-compliant e-learning. Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitor offerings, and adult learning innovations; continuously improve training programs. Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in instructional design and technology (e.g., AI). Collaborate with SMEs, product managers, and channel teams to conduct needs-analysis meetings for reseller-partner learning experiences. Work with LMS administrators to publish content on partner training portals and track course completion and feedback. Ensure content reflects updates to cybersecurity solutions and aligns with partner program goals. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

5+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a B2B or channel enablement environment. Experience developing technical training content for IT, cybersecurity, or software products. Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories. Familiarity with partner ecosystems, reseller programs, or channel sales enablement. Proficiency with e-learning tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, etc.). Strong writing, editing, and communication skills; ability to translate technical content into engaging learning. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams and tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cybersecurity products (Data Security, Application Security, IAM). Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (e.g., Allego, Skilljar). Instructional design certification (ATD, CPLP, or similar). Experience creating certification programs or microlearning series. Hands-on experience with AI tools. Additional Information
