Overview Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Designer Brand & Marketing. Primary Function: Deliver high-quality creative services that support brand and marketing initiatives across digital, print, and experiential channels. Translate strategic direction into compelling visual assets—from social graphics and signage to presentations and wireframes—that reinforce brand identity, accessibility, and emotional connection. Collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive storytelling and efficient production workflows, contributing to a centralized design system and scalable asset libraries.

Responsibilities

Execute design work across campaigns, digital platforms, presentations, and in-branch experiences to visually communicate strategic goals and elevate member engagement.

Visually unified brand experiences that drive engagement, accessibility, and emotional connection across touchpoints.

Ensure all creative outputs align with accessibility and ADA standards.

Manage photo direction, typography, and layout systems for brand consistency.

Maintain brand consistency through templates, color systems, and design libraries.

Participate in creative reviews and contribute to team critiques.

Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to uphold production quality and compliance.

Collaborate with writers, Campaign Managers, and the AVP, Digital Content Optimization to ensure cohesive storytelling.

Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Responsible for regular and predictable attendance including punctuality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Advertising required

Demonstrated system-level design and brand work required

Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat) required

Ability to prepare photos and files for press: check for appropriate color format, fonts, and graphics for quality and correct formats; adjust and manipulate files including photo adjustment/enhancement, color conversation (RGB to CMYK) and export. Determine page layout accounting for fold trims, bleeds, etc. required

Demonstrated knowledge of offset print and digital print processes and production methods preferred
