Job Title Senior Game Producer, World Development – Overwatch 2

Location & Hours Full‑time position, in‑office in Irvine, California (Tues‑Thurs) with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities

Build, curate, and drive a content development process for game maps and modes with alignment from pipeline leads.

Develop, maintain, and communicate team goals, roadmaps, capacity plans, and schedules.

Lead cross‑disciplinary strike teams building world‑related game content & features.

Schedule, organize, and drive a game content pipeline spanning level design, concepting, modeling, scripting, playtesting, iteration, outsourcing, finaling, engine performance, quality assurance and defect resolution, delivery, shipping, and live patching.

Partner with pipeline and discipline leadership to define goals and deliverables – and drive communication to ensure alignment and meet deadlines while respecting plans, work balance, and quality standards.

Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure game maps and modes are configured, functional, performant, and thoroughly tested before release.

Facilitate and manage healthy communication throughout the team. Champion the team and its members. Foster a culture of collaboration and trust.

Identify, communicate, and work to mitigate risks and challenges that may prevent the team or its partners from realizing its deliverables and goals at quality and on‑time.

Communicate frequently with the stakeholders on deliverable status and improvement insights.

Own, define, and refine processes and workflows throughout the Worldbuilding team.

Own the game lobby screen pipeline, ensuring setup, timely release, and on‑time asset delivery through cross‑team coordination.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Producer or Project Manager on a significant shipped or shippable game title.

Shipped significant game world content or patches as a game producer.

Demonstrable ability to create, track, and maintain clear roadmaps, team schedules, and drive multiple projects to completion on‑time and at‑quality while ensuring work balance.

Communicate effectively and succinctly with and solicit, receive, and integrate feedback from leaders and stakeholders.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to drive to clarity through collaboration, alignment, planning, risk‑mitigation, and problem‑solving.

Knowledge of software development, game art production, and project management – including Agile and Waterfall processes.

Pluses

Overwatch fan or player.

Prior experience in design, story, or art‑related development.

An eye for art and design and an interest in fostering the creative process.

Multiplayer / online game development experience.

Expertise with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Slack, Excel, Sheets, and comparable systems.

BA / BS (or equivalent).
