Director, HCP Marketing - US Aesthetics
Location: Orange County, CA
Base Pay Range $190,000 – $230,000 per year
About the Role We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of HCP Marketing to lead the launch of a first-in-class injectable neurotoxin. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Toxins, this role is a rare opportunity for a seasoned marketing leader to shape the go-to-market strategy for a disruptive innovation in the fast-growing category of injectable aesthetics.
You'll define how we engage healthcare professionals, develop our brand presence in clinical settings, and lead field enablement across a cross-functional commercial team. You will play a critical leadership role in shaping brand strategy, driving adoption, and ensuring a successful product launch with long-term market impact.
Key Responsibilities
Launch Strategy & Execution – develop comprehensive product launch plans, milestones, budgets, and market research.
Own the end‑to‑end HCP marketing strategy for launch: positioning, messaging, promotional mix.
Define launch objectives and ensure readiness for successful go‑to‑market launch strategies.
Monitor and report on launch progress, track KPIs, identify and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with global colleagues to integrate best practices into the U.S. launch plan.
Lead the strategic direction, design, execution, and performance measurement of HCP‑focused marketing strategies to achieve brand objectives.
Oversee brand planning from situational analysis through executive review, ensuring timely development of strategies that enable launch and growth.
Deliver strategic and operational commercial plans reflecting core brand positioning and ROI analysis.
Make informed decisions on P&L, revenue, investment; analyze forecast assumptions and support launch and lifecycle plans.
Guide test‑market pilots and evaluate rollout of new programs based on data‑driven findings.
Drive a diverse, collaborative, and agile culture across the marketing team and cross‑functional interfaces.
Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance functions to ensure compliant promotional activities.
Collaborate with external agencies to create compelling promotional tactics aligned with brand objectives.
Travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or MS) strongly preferred.
Minimum eight (8) years of relevant strategy and marketing experience in a highly matrixed organization.
Pharmaceutical/medical device industry experience required; relevant aesthetics/beauty experience highly preferred.
Product launch experience in a U.S. marketing organization required.
Proven experience managing creative agencies, developing briefs, timelines, and budgets.
Excellent presentation skills to senior leadership.
Highly organized; able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
