Designer II - CannonDesign Join the CannonDesign team as a Designer II to contribute to a multi-disciplinary design approach on a large‑scale healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN. This role reports directly to a Licensed Architect and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Independently contribute conceptual design and architectural development within a multi-disciplinary team.

Prepare design presentations, including 3‑D visualizations and illustrative graphics.

Assist in BIM model production and deliverables.

Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in project meetings.

Provide shop drawing review and support site visits as required.

Attend client meetings in professional business attire.

Travel required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or related field) – preferred from an accredited program. Minimum 4 years professional experience required.

Strong creative design portfolio.

Excellent communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organisational skills.

Experience with real‑time rendering/3‑D visualization (Enscape, Twinmotion, V‑Ray) as demonstrated in portfolio.

Some experience with computational design tools (Grasshopper, Dynamo) is preferred.

Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States – preferred.

LEED accreditation preferred.

Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $61,400 – $76,700 annually (Chicago office). Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, FSA, retirement 401(k), paid time off, flex‑time, remote options, and employee perk programs.
