We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to help bring our platforms—CurtainConnect and our archival services—to life for the communities we serve.
Position Overview The Digital Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing efforts to elevate CurtainConnect and our archival services, driving audience growth and engagement across email, web, and social platforms. This role blends creative storytelling with technical execution—crafting compelling newsletters, short-form videos, and digital campaigns while managing CRM segmentation, advertising, and website optimization. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of digital marketing experience, fluency in Canva and Microsoft 365, and a passion for the arts, legacy preservation, and inclusive representation.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for CurtainConnect and archival services
Lead email campaigns, PR outreach, and targeted digital actions
Create and distribute a monthly newsletter that inspires, informs, and grows our subscriber base
Collaborate with our social media and fundraising teams to drive engagement
Create and edit marketing assets using Canva and Microsoft 365
Produce short-form videos to support email campaigns, social media and storytelling
Work with CRM tools to segment audiences, launch campaign emails, and track engagement effectiveness
Manage Digital Advertising including Search and Display advertising
Ensure our website design and content align with campaign strategy and audience needs
What You Bring
5+ years in digital marketing (nonprofit or mission-driven experience a plus)
Strong skills in Microsoft 365, Canva, and video editing
CRM experience (e.g., Bloomerang CRM) is a bonus
Experience guiding or executing website design updates based on strategic goals
Excellent writing and storytelling skills
Passion for the arts, legacy preservation, and inclusive representation
Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate for this contractor role, with 30-40 hours per week. Annual pay can range from $65,000-$85,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
