We are seeking a Sleep Technologist / Polysomnographer to perform comprehensive sleep studies across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role includes conducting overnight and daytime polysomnography, titrations, mask fittings, scoring studies, and monitoring neurophysiologic signals, ensuring accurate data collection and patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience with adult and pediatric MWT & MSLT, complex sleep disorders, neurophysiologic monitoring, and advanced sleep technologies, and will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and monitor polysomnography (PSG) and sleep studies, including Adult and Pediatric Maintenance of Wakefulness Tests (MWT), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT), titrations (ASV, BiPAP, CPAP, VPAP, oxygen administration), and seizure studies* for patients of all age groups. Perform mask fittings (full face, nasal mask, nasal pillow) and manage equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting for devices such as Natus Sleep Works (preferred). Monitor and interpret neurophysiologic signals, including EEG, ECG, and respiratory monitoring (End-Tidal CO , O saturation, TCO , respiratory inductance plethysmography). Identify and document sleep stages, arousals, transient arousals*, respiratory events, cardiac abnormalities, hypopnea, Cheyne-Stokes respiration, complex sleep apnea, periodic breathing, periodic limb movements (PLM), hypoventilation, and other polysomnographic events. Accurately score PSG studies according to AASM standards. Enter patient information and study data into Epic or other designated EHR systems (preferred). Maintain compliance with BLS certification and either RPSGT or RRT/SDS standards, infection control protocols, and facility safety guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, neurodiagnostic staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of polysomnography/sleep study experience, including adult and pediatric studies. BLS certification required; RPSGT or RRT/SDS certification required. Experience with Natus Sleep Works or similar sleep monitoring equipment preferred. Proficiency in Epic or equivalent EHR systems preferred.
