Sr Advisor - Creative Strategy (Memphis, TN)
St. Jude – ALSAC is seeking a strategic, insight-driven Sr. Advisor – Creative Strategy to help shape the foundation of our most impactful creative campaigns. In this role, you’ll partner with creative, brand, and audience insights teams to develop purpose-driven strategies that inspire breakthrough ideas and deepen emotional connections with the St. Jude mission.

What You’ll Do
Shape Strategy: Partner with the Director of Creative Strategy to build strategic frameworks for campaigns that drive engagement and impact.
Lead Brief Development: Create compelling creative briefs rooted in audience insights, brand positioning, and cultural relevance.
Collaborate for Excellence: Work closely with creative teams throughout development to ensure strategic alignment and elevate ideas.
Uncover Insights: Conduct research and synthesize data from internal and external sources to inform creative direction.
Drive Integration: Support cross-functional collaboration with Brand Strategy, Integrated Marketing, Audience Planning, and Insights teams.
Influence Trends: Share thought leadership and emerging trends to inspire innovative, mission-driven work.
Be the Strategic Voice: Participate in campaign planning, brainstorms, and creative reviews to champion audience-first thinking.
This position will be based at our national executive office in Memphis, TN and eligible for a hybrid working schedule.
Job Requirements
Experience: 6–8 years in creative strategy, brand strategy, or related roles within advertising, marketing, or nonprofit sectors.
Proven Expertise: Skilled in developing creative briefs and guiding integrated campaigns (digital, social, video, experiential).
Analytical Storyteller: Ability to distill complex data into compelling narratives that inspire creative work.
Audience‑Centric: Experience with audience insights, segmentation, and cultural research.
Mission‑Driven: Passion for purpose‑driven work and the St. Jude mission.
Preferred
Background in advertising agencies, nonprofit, healthcare, or cause‑related marketing.
Familiarity with in‑house creative team dynamics.
Experience with emotionally resonant or mission‑driven campaigns.
