Base pay range $17.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Communications Associate This is an on‑site entry level position that requires the ability to learn sales communication practices and entails a passion for engaging with diverse target audiences. As a Communications Assistant, your role is pivotal in supporting the communications team in executing various communication strategies to enhance the organization’s image and outreach efforts. The Communications Assistant will assist in the development and dissemination of materials that convey key messages about our organization’s initiatives, goals, and achievements. Working closely with various departments, you will help to ensure that our communication efforts are coherent and reflective of our organization’s values. Your contributions directly impact public perception and help cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, thereby enhancing our reputation and effectiveness.
Communications Assistant Responsibilities
Engage with community partners and stakeholders to promote communication goals
Collaborate with team members in creating client presentations and public speaking to drive consumer sales
Support the planning and execution of internal and external events
Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Collaborate with team members to gather information for different projects
Coordinate logistics for meetings and communications‑related activities
Review and analyze feedback from communications initiatives to recommend improvements
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new communication strategies
Assist in maintaining project timelines and budgets when necessary
Implement feedback from supervisors to refine communication approaches
Required Qualifications
Can commute to office Mon‑Fri
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑service orientation
Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills
Basic knowledge of public speaking is desirable
Demonstrated understanding of audience analysis and target messaging
Willingness to learn new tools and techniques in communication
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
Relevant experience in communications, marketing, or a related area (internships a plus but not required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
