Lead Graphic Designer – Hybrid (Durham, NC)
We’re seeking a hands‑on Lead Graphic Designer to join a fast‑paced, collaborative Marketing & Communications team within a leading professional services organization. This role is ideal for a creative who thrives in a hybrid, in‑office environment and enjoys balancing design execution with strategic input.
As the Lead Designer, you’ll manage and direct freelance contributors, evolve the company’s visual brand, and create impactful design across digital, print, and presentation formats. You’ll collaborate closely with executives, internal partners, and contractors to deliver high‑quality work on tight timelines — from executive decks and event branding to an upcoming company rebrand.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the visual evolution of the brand through a major refresh initiative.
Design and manage assets for executive presentations, events, campaigns, and bi‑weekly town halls.
Provide creative direction and manage workload for freelance designers.
Collaborate across departments to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals.
Explore and integrate AI‑enabled tools to enhance creative workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
7–10 years of professional design experience, including senior or lead roles.
Strong background in professional services or other corporate, fast‑paced environments.
Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite; motion or video skills a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you’ll partner directly with executives.
Strong portfolio showcasing brand work, presentations, and multi‑channel design.
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr
Additional Compensation Annual Bonus
Hybrid Position (3 days in‑office per week) based in Durham, NC.
