Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer Base pay range: $37.98/hr - $59.50/hr

Qualifications

Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer

3-5 years of systems design experience

Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code

Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer’s equipment

Autodesk Certification Professional ACP or other drafting technologies certifications

Responsibilities

Work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business.

Hybrid position based in Austin, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Portland, OR or Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with multi‑discipline engineers and design leads for Life Safety Systems.

Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers.

Assist designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security and Intrusion detection systems.
