Job Description
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a respected healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK.
Details
40 hours per week
12-week assignment
5x8 hour day shifts
Key Responsibilities
Provide perioperative nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Circulate and assist in various surgical specialties, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety standards.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety.
Monitor patients vital signs, anesthesia response, and comfort throughout the procedure.
Participate in post-anesthesia care and patient handoffs.
Requirements
Active Alaska RN license required.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (PALS required for multispecialty coverage).
Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience preferred.
